The Little Kiss — a romantic cocktail

The Little Kiss — a romantic cocktail

Hi there,

As you know, last week it was Valentine's Day.

We would love to share with you a delicious, romantic, and, one might even say, sexy cocktail that someone shared with me. Because it's ideal for February.

It's called  The Little Kiss — and that is exactly what it is, in a glass.

If you're looking for something special to share with your husband, wife, or significant other under the last few nights of the winter stars, this cocktail is it. What better way to celebrate the passing of winter and the arrival of spring than to share a glass of this refined drink with the one you love?

Normally,  The Little Kiss is made with champagne. However, if you'd like to give it a Spanish twist — as we did — you can use cava instead.

We hope you enjoy this cocktail as much as we did!

What you'll need:
Bottle of cava or champagne; a bottle of white crème de cacao; white vinegar; sugar; water; and fresh strawberries

Here's how you make it:

(This recipe is easy, and should take less than 15 minutes in total. However, you should try to complete the first step at least a day before.)

  1. First, you need to make the strawberry shrub. Put 10oz of water, 4 oz of white vinegar, 12 oz of sugar, and about 10 strawberries (halved) into a pan. Heat until the sugar has dissolved, then leave to cool. Then mash the strawberries, and strain and refrigerate the liquid.
  2. Pour about 1⁄4 oz of the strawberry shrub into a chilled champagne flute, along with 1⁄4 oz of the crème de cacao.
  3. Fill the rest of the glass with cava (or champagne), slowly, allowing the cava to mix with the strawberry shrub and crème de cacao naturally.
  4. Garnish your glass with a strawberry.
  5. Voilà!

This romantic cocktail tastes best when shared with someone you love, whether he or she is your lover, a member of your family, or a dear friend.

P.S. A lot of folks have been asking about the  Sagrada Whiskey Glass.

It's a beautiful piece in the Sagrada Collection — one that, unfortunately, has been out of stock for several weeks now.

Anyway, we are pleased to say that we are expecting a delivery soon.

We cannot promise a specific date. So, if you have had your eye on this piece for a while, we recommend you keep an eye on your inbox. Because as soon as we receive more of these gorgeous pieces from our workshops, we will send an email and let you know right away. Stay tuned!
