For the whisky lover in your life

For the whisky lover in your life

Hi there!

Do you enjoy savoring fine malts with your friends?

Or perhaps there's a whisky or bourbon lover in your life — someone who appreciates sophistication — and their birthday is coming up soon?

If so, today's blog post is for you.

As everyone knows, we love our wine here in Spain. But what a lot of folks don't realize is that we also love to share a good single malt after dinner. So, naturally,  we extended the Sagrada glassware collection to include all the requisites for refined whisky (and bourbon) drinking.

The following pieces that we are about to show you — which are what we recommend for the complete whisky set — have been out of stock for a while now. However, we're about to receive a new shipment from our workshops, so we wanted to give you a fair heads up before they sell out again.

Like we said, if there's a whisky lover in your life and you have a special celebration or anniversary coming up,  you might want to take a look.

(By the way, these pieces aren't only for Scotch drinkers. They're perfect for any liquor or spirits, including rum, vodka, gin, brandy, even tequila.)

Please Note: As with every piece in the Sagrada collection, each of these pieces is hand-blown and hand-painted by our craftsmen and craftswomen. This means stocks are often low. If you have a birthday or anniversary coming up, we recommend that you pre-order these pieces now as we cannot guarantee future availability.

Sagrada Whisky Decanter

We always keep my three favorite malts in their own decanters, which we offer to friends and guests after dinner. But we never tell them the name of the distillery or the age. What's funny is, when we ask people to guess based on taste, they often think it's a very expensive bottle, like a Macallan 30 Year Old. So the whisky must just taste better when it's poured from a Sagrada decanter!

Sagrada Whisky Glasses
These glasses are a wonderful complement to the whisky decanter above. They also perfectly match all of your other Sagrada pieces — helping to create that "complete" look with your glassware, which is especially important when you bring out the whisky after serving a wonderful dinner and wine pairings with the Sagrada wine glasses and wine decanter.

Sagrada Water Pitcher
Many people (myself included) like to put a few drops of mineral water in their whisky and bourbon, as it helps to bring out some of the deeper notes.
